Charity Litter Pick
Back in 2021, the Ten Three Cleaning team planned and conducted a twenty mile walk to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice. This was an incredibly successful fundraiser and we managed to raise £691.04, smashing our £500 target!

A couple of months later we hosted a Macmillan coffee morning, Ten Three Cleaning office staff contributed by bringing in homemade and shop bought treats, and we managed to raise £105.

We have since discovered that as a team, we really enjoy supporting our local charities and making a difference to those in need. This year we have planned a Charity Litter Pick around Yeovil’s country parks. As a cleaning business, we want to get outside and make an impact on cleaning up the local environment and at the same time, raise money for The Lords Larder.

The Lords Larder are a well-known food bank based in Yeovil. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the effect has been hard for local people. Individuals and families have struggled to provide necessities, so they turned to The Lords Larder. During 2020, The Lords Larder helped 8200 people in the local area and gave out 144,000 items of food.

Now with gas and electricity bills rocketing up, more families are going to take a hit and as a result, Food Banks in even higher demand than usual, which is why this year, we have chosen to support The Lords Larder and aim to raise a minimum of £300, so we can donate a large food parcel and make a difference.

We have spoken to many local companies to see if they would like to donate and support us on our venture, we were delighted that Jones Building Group wanted to donate to our fundraiser and even more delighted that some of their team wanted to join us for the Litter pick!
